Android Question Widget Screen Size issue.

I am developing a widget. It is 3x1 in size. I increased it height from 72 to 92 and when I installed it it show up as 3x2. Ok, so I set the size back to the original 216 x 72, installed it and it still showed up as 3x2.

I then changed it to 10x 10. Installed it and it show up as 1x1. So I changed it to 216x10, installed it and it show up as 1x1, but, only the first icon showed in the widget on the screen.

Does anyone have any good advice on widget dimensions. I have looked the widget tutorial and copied the bal file to get this working in the beginning.

Different devices use different sizes for a home screen cell. You should uninstall the app and then reinstall it if the dimensions do not seem to be correct (the launcher might have cached the sizes).

Cheers, I have found that 72 height is the max size that should work on most devices.
