Android Question how can I check if a specific Bluetooth device (mac address) is already connected?

another app connects via Bluetooth to a device, my app needs to know if that specific device is already connected (or a list of connected devices).
how?

i read the post....but if I start my app after the connection has already taken, how do I check if a specific device is connected?

There is no other way to find the connected devices.
