Android Question USB Serial - use the same device with two Apps

Hello,

I have an external FT232 USB device that works great and reliable with a B4A App.

I want to use this device with two applications now (only one will be open, the the other closed).
The problem is that when I connect the device, a message asks me to "Choose an app for the USB device" and only the selected one further works.
If I close the selected app and start the second app, it will not communicate with the device.

Can I do a workaround for this ?

This is known issue in Android. Make sure not to check the "always use this app" and it should work, at least on most devices.

Another option is to merge both applications to a single app.
