I've being asked about the possibility of selling licenses that include the source code of the internal libraries. It is mainly relevant for companies who want to have full control over the code.

I want to understand whether there is enough demand for such licenses. The price will be around $400 for B4A and B4i (separately), and $100 for B4J. Note that the source of some of B4J libraries is already available: https://github.com/AnywhereSoftware?utf8=✓&tab=repositories&q=b4j

If you think that you might be interested in such license or if you have any other question about it then please contact me by email: [email protected]

A small clarification. Developers who purchase a license with the source code do not become the owners of the source code. They cannot distribute the source code and they cannot distribute the compiled libraries.

They can modify the code and use it in their applications.

This can indeed be very useful although I am not in the need of it at present.

What about the upgrades? Will it follow the same 2-year upgrade interval as the main software itself?
