iOS Question Cheap development device.

New to iOS dev and need to get a device to develop on. As we only have 3 users on iOS and the rest on Android I really do not want to spend a lot of money on something that will get a few tests and then be put on a shelve as I have no plans to use it.

Also reading there are 64 bit and 32 bit CPU's depending on the model. If I grab an older phone or tablet that is 32 bit will that be a problem?

No.

I recommend you to use a device with iOS 13+. Most users use the latest version and it is important to test your app with the latest version.

Meanwhile the maximum deployment target for 32-bit targets is iOS 10.

'Cheap' and 'Apple' are antonyms. Better to grab childs, friends. Apple's fans like to change models.
I'd search used iPhone with big screen such as 6S Plus, 7/8 Plus. As declared, IOS 14 will support these models.
