iOS Question Renewing Push Certificate

Hello,

I have a confusion. My current push messages certificate on apple developer console is about to expire in 1 month. If I change the certificate with a new one

1) Do I need to update my app on the store?
2) IF YES to question 1 : If I change the certificate, what will happen to users who don't update their app so they will be using the old certificate ?

You don't need to update your app. You should of course test it after changing the key.

I found out that my push certificate is not expiring but my provision file is expiring ? is it the same or should i update the apps also ?
