left me with questions...

what value (int) is associated with the WiFi connection statuses..
There are just three ?

WiFi on and connected
WiFi on and not connected (and therefore phone is connected to carrier's data connection)
WiFi off and phone is connected to carrier's data connection

So off and not connected isn't an option ? This condition would be equal to Off?? That is confusing..


Lastly what is the change to the manifest that I need to get that code sample working?

I need to display a indicator that tells if WiFi is available.

I'll be needing similar indicators for Printer , network, and a scanner

The string values of Phone.GetDataState are listed here:

SUSPENDED means that there is a connection but data connection is suspended.
