Yup. Apple does that. You will have to change the store listing of any of your identical apps, even though they are meant to be similar.Hi,
Here is the latest from Apple.
I've always used, for my free and paid app, the same icon and it has not made any problems to this day.
Today, apple comes with such a message.
From my experience just upload it again for review and it should be accepted.
It really depends on wich qc guy your app will fall. Sometimes its a cool guy sometimes a less cool guy so there is a big chance it will be approved if you upload the same build again and send for a new review.
It worked for me. I have sent twice the same app that was rejected and it was then approved without making any changes.
