Android Question Bluetooth arduino project

I want to do something involving bluetooth on an arduino, but I'm not sure about which bt profiles are supported by both arduinos and B4A. Is there anything I need to keep in mind or will any bluetooth shield or BT+Arduino combination unit work?

The relevant profile is SPP (serial port). It is supported by B4A with Serial library. It should also be supported on Arduino devices with Bluetooth.
