Android Question Determining the day of week of any date

is it possible in b4a to determine the date of any given date between 2000 and 2100

So if user inputs January 1 2008 it would return tuesday

I have found some Algorithms online like Tomohiko Sakamoto's
i just dont know if they can be translated in the B4A

thank you so much i have been trying to figure this out for a few hours, all i can say is at least i know about the doomsday algorithm and how people can do this n there heads.
