I am trying to develop an app for scanning the WiFi networks available in the network range and connect mobile to selected network from the app.

Thank you Erel,

I tested the code you have posted on the thread, and the result is app showing the details of only current connected router.
Is it possible to read the available networks like phone WiFi settings ?, in that discussion group they mentioned that it can only read the connected router details.

It is not possible get information about other networks.
