I actually updated android studio, Java, B4A 8.5, Bridge 2.53 on Android 8.0.0 and opened a new project.

Debug upload: B4AS says: upload successful . Bridge asks: install? . Then installing. Then: "App was not installed." every time, after rebooting etc.

Bridge is allowed to install unknown apps. There ist no previous version of the app on the handy.

This err I never had before. What can I try further?

many thanks

just found, that older apps get installed. So it not seems to be a system fault:) Try to find it out -

ok, mistake was to set #supported orientation: landscape. #supported orientation: unspezified works.

sorry to stress you...

How is Android Studio related here? Are you using one SDK for Android Studio and B4A?

Are <ou using the B4A SDKManager'?

Note that you should use a SDK for b4a and one for Android Studio. Do not mix them (use different paths).
