Android Question Activity Recognition or Alternative Solution

Hello Everyone,

I have been using Erels google play services lib to get the user activity("still","in_vehicle") etc.. up until now.. With the update of the google play services..this library no longer is able to provide that data.

I have a app which is used by 2000 people and in production ..one of the main features being the activity recognition..
Can someone think of a way around or an alternative to getting if the user is still or in transit?
are there any other libraries that can do this? how about having a seperate android studio app to collate this data?
