This might be a very stupid question, but i'm totally new here. Is it possible to adjust the screen brightness using basic4ppc code? And if it's possible, how do i do that?

    thanks

    Welcome to the forum Vince.
Not a stupid question at all.

It is not possible to manually adjust the backlight.

You can force the backlight to be active with Hardware.BackLightOn.
You can also open the control panel settings (this will not work on all devices):
    Code:
    Shell("\windows\ctlpnl.exe","cplmain,6")

It is better to start a new thread for a new question.

The FMOD library supports playing sounds and music and setting the volume.

You're right. When I get a reply back from fmod.org I will post it in a new one, as 3.75 seems to have walked the plank, and nothing on their website references windows mobile.

It's still there. Click the download button at the top of the page then "FMOD 3 Programmers API" under "Links" at mid-right on the page and you get here FMOD music & sound effects system

You want "Windows 32bit" for the desktop and "Windows CE" just underneath it for the device. You want the dll under: fmodapi375ce\api\wce4\armv4

Since you posted your query, http://www.basic4ppc.com/forum/additional-libraries/4686-powernotify-beta.html#post26860 has introduced a library that allows the backllight to be turned off or on. Not the same as adjusting it, but if that is what you really wanted...
