Android Question Analyzing a screen

I have been playing with b4x for a few days now and am ready to create an app.
I would like to model my the look and layout on an app that I have seen.
I have attached a screenshot

The app seems to have used an action bar. But he displays "points" on the bar which changes. I haven't found a way to change text in the Action Bar after it's set.
Also he has a sleek slide in menu. How do we implement this?

If anyone can guide as to how to pull off that look and layout, I will be grateful.

Are you referring to the PT 2.56 text?
