Android Question Animation Plus 2.2

Does the animation seem a bit sluggish with the most recent Android OS 4.3 (Nexus 7)? The views that are rotating seems to have an issue, other effects are OK. Not as smooth as it use to be with rotating. I am using API 14 and tried API 18 with same result. 4.2 was really smooth. Any idea?

The API used for compilation doesn't have any effect on the compiled result.

I just tried AnimationPlus with the latest version (4.3.1) and noticed nothing unusual with the demo. I got the same result on a device with Gingerbread.
