iOS Question APP ID Help!

I am an absolute newbie to Apple stuff and have following the silent youtube tutorial up to the APP ID. Which I dont quite get. It talks about Team ID BundleID and wildcards. In this context I am rather stuck. Why Apple make it so difficult unlike B4a/Android who knows.

[have just bought an Iphone too...waiting for delivery...never used one before!]

Can someone get me through this maze? I have generated the Certificate and downloaded it per the tutorial.
