I wasn't sure where to post this, so I chose the ChitChat area.
Today I successfully installed B4J 5.90 on an old (and low-grade) XP machine.
A few reference data:
Java JDK: 1.8.0.74
B4J: 5.90
OS: Microsoft XP Pro SP 3
CPU: Intel Atom 330 1.60GHz
RAM: 2GB total
HD: 200GB (60GB primary, 120GB data)
It works well. A bit slow, but that was expected.
I was curious to test the new B4x UI feature and its "companion" xCustomListView. Again, they worked flawlessly.
Tested TreeTableVieww too. Both examples worked smoothly.
Obviously this machine won't become my primary dev pc, but I'm satisfied with the results.
ps: no, XP is not the oldest OS I power up from time to time..eheh
