    Hi,

Just installed B4J version 3 after already having a old version of B4J installed.

Had B4J closed and updated to the new version. After installing the new version it has a tick box at the end of the installation that allows you to run the software.

It seems to try and run the new version but I got the following error message.

If I click on OK and try and run the software normally, it will run fine.
Seems to fail to run from the installation.

It seems like a permissions issue. I will track it.

I do have windows user controls enabled on my Windows 8.1 PC.
When I manually run B4J it asks me if I allow it to open the software.

Maybe it has something to do with that.
Not a big deal since it only happens during the install but once the software is installed it seems to be OK.

Just thought I would report it.

What happened after you downloaded the exe file? Did you see the this image:

Works ok here running same steps (Windows 8.1). Installed on the same directory as B4J V1.50

Same question @inakigarm, did you see the above message when you tried to install B4J?

    Run as Administrator.

Maybe I didn't explain me correctly; I didn't have any problem with running B4J from installation process.

I understood it. I just want to check about a different issue related to Windows 8 and the installer certificate.
