Background Compile/Run icon

Any chance you can create a background compile/run icon in the IDE similar to the "play" icon for the foreground compile/run? Or at least make the "play" icon configurable where, when clicked, it does background instead of foreground. Thanks,

I'm using Alt+3 most of the time. I will consider adding a button.

I use the alt +3 as well, but, since i use it most/all the time, it would be convenient to have a configuration option for the "play" icon to cause background or add another icon to support background. I'm lazy I guess.

I would prefer background compile & run as a default for F5 / Play button

Alternatively, consider F6 as a shortcut
I'm a keyboard man myself so I tend to avoid icons/menus where possible
For me then its little fiddly to do Ctrl+S (Save) then Alt+3 (Run)

So go to Tools - IDE Options and check Auto Save.
Then you will only need to do Alt+3
