Android Question Best Practice for "Side-By-Side" Apps?

Hello,

i purchased the Cardboard-like Stooksy - it's a great experience (very recommendable)

But the offered Apps are mostly a little bit poor, so i like to implement some ideas by myself.
Is there a possibility to "clone" a view for the necessary side-by-side effect? Or how would you guys and girls resolve this? Maybe by creating two separate views containing the same content?
Suggestions are welcome.
