Bluetooth classic heartbeat byte ?

Hi Guys,
The TI bluetooth paper - HERE

states - The first is the “classic” Bluetooth device as mentioned earlier. These are typically those devices that need a maintained and often high-throughput connection.

Does this mean that when I've finished sending a packet of data via my HC-05, I should be sending a few "heartbeat" bytes periodically to maintain the connection ?

TIA.

since the target BT starts blinking again when you power off the hc5 then yes.. This means there was kind of Connection Maintenance Communication or CMC (my invention word). Try to shield the hc5 without disconnecting or walk away 20 meters.. Same result.
