Bluetooth connection problem

Hi,

I try to connect to a bluetooth device with

Serial1.Connect3(PairedDevices.Get(l.Get(res)),1)

Then I get a "java.io.IOException: Permission denied"

Any one know whats this means?

I surpose that the device I connect to is a serial port.
But can it be another protocol? My phone show at headset in the connection menu.

And if it is, how do I connect to this protocol.

They have made a app for android so it is possible to com with it.

Have you tried to contact them for support (at Contact iDevices, LLC about details of protocol data?

Why are you using Connect3 instead of Connect?

If I use Connect I get a "Connection refused" error.

Do you want me to post the log for this error?

The logs will not help in this case.

It is possible that this device uses a non-standard UUID (standard = 00001101-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB).
Maybe you can check their documentation and then use Connect2. You can also try to use Connect3 with different ports.
