Android Question Bluetooth Name

So I am updateing my Multiplayer Fingerboarding App by adding
bluetooth and Wi-Fi options. All is going well but...

How do I change the name of the device?

I've searched the forums and came up with "friendly names" but
either it is not quite what I am looking for or I can't seem to figure it out.

For example:



Can "SM-T210R" (which is the device model number) be changed to something like "BOB"?

You cannot change the internal name. However you can show whichever string you like...
