Android Question Borders shows on device

Hi all,

I'm trying out the trial version and I'm having a strange problem.
I have borders that shows around spinners. They only show
on the device and not on the emulator.

Anyone knows what can cause this?

Different versions of Android have different looks. You can see it with the UI Cloud.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Both the emulator and my device (samsung note 2) are running the same version
of android jelly bean (4.1.2). You can see in the images I'v uploaded what I'm talking about.
Is there any way to remove these borders? I don't like them...
I think spinners in android 4 should have no borders around them, but maybe I'm wrong.

This is how a native Spinner looks on Samsung Note 2. Manufacturers can change the default look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TouchWiz

You can use your own drawables instead of the default. See the nine patch image tutorial.
