Android Question Can vlc play a streaming ip camera?

Good day sir,

I want to ask can vlc media player embedded in a panel in my android app and stream a live feed from ip camera?
I have go through all the forum that mention about vlc, but can't find any example to start...

Well... this is NOT a vlc related forum...
May I sugest you to search Google for some java code that does what you want and then maybe someone will be ablessed to help you.. also and firstmost, try to find an answer to your own first question... "can vlc embedded player play IP camera streaming "

I have search the internet and found that vlc can stream and play the ip camera. I have also found this link, but I'm no sure that can vlc be open and display my panel in my app?

So to streaming the live feed from ip camera to my android app, can't use the vlc but use the native video view instead?

You will need the VLC app installed, your app will send an intent to the VLC player to play the video.
