I love that I can use a larger font in the IDE But the bug is it also changes the font in the dialog boxes and debug screens and the formatting gets messed up and you can't read them.

I know the feeling. I use MS Sans Serif bold (yeah, I don't use fixwidth fonts for programming, switched 20 years ago and has never looked back), and, for example, if i type For f=0 to 10, the text will be compressed so that the space between For and f disappears, and sometimes half the f as well. An extra space fixes it, but is not very neat.
I don't remember, but I think that if I didn't use bold, the problem got even worse. Not 100% sure, though.
