Android Question CheckBox color change

I want to talk about a problem, do I change the box colors as shown in the appendix?

because it resembles the background color, hard to distinguish..

I would go for a font with the 2 checkbox states in it or 2 images.

the font method is the best since it's vector and only requires labels.
