Android Question Choose App Icon Resets To Default

Good day!
I have tried to change the App Icon (Project -> Choose Icon), although it is replaced originally (after I do this I can see the correct Icon under Objects\res\drawable), but whenever I hit release, it gets back to the original (thus exporting as such to the APK)
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? The icon is 512*512

make sure your folder isn't read only,
and try to replace the icon in the folder Objects\res\drawable
using the same name

the last icon i used was 256x256 32 bit png.
maybe u need uninstall the current app and install it again?

Well the only solution was to do this "manually". Whenever I used the command it reverted to the original for some odd reason )both source and destination folder weren't read only as you may see in the GIF)
