Connection problems prevent me running compilation or designer on phone

Hello, I have managed to connect my tablet okay (nexus 10), but cannot connect my phone:

• HTC Droid Incredible 2
• Verizon network
• Android Gingerbread

The same phone works fine using Eclipse, and I get the same problem on two machines (one is Windows 7, the other is Windows XP).

1. What happens is I connect my phone to the computer.
2. I verify that the phone appears in the deploy list in eclipse
3. I try to run the designer in B4A (times out)
4. I try to compile my program (times out during connect)

B4A won't run on my device, despite the fact that I'm able to run Java code from Eclipse.

Any help or advice will be gratefully received

You can increase the process timeout value under Tools - IDE Options.

Yeah, it doesn't help though. I've tried setting it to half an hour with no joy.

Its also worth mentioning that I can run the apk file successfully by manually installing it via HTC Sync utility, but this means I lose debugging.

Make sure that the android.jar path under Tools - Configure Paths is set to the correct Android SDK. Installation in both Eclipse and Basic4android is done by a tool named ADB, which is part of the Android SDK (unless you are using B4A-Bridge).
