Controls in custom style?

now in many programs (NOD32,Outpost FIreWall,Acronis True Image and etc.) i'm see controls in not standart style.

and this nice style i see for all controls!Checkbox,RadioButt,ListVeiw,Table and etc.
how? it is custom controls?
maybe it is real for basic4ppc?

button i'm create in B4ppc with manifest file.
but this

button i see in NOD32 in my PC. how? it is not style of my PC's theme.
and this controls look nice when i'm disable visual style of windows (controls,creatred in b4ppc is not)
