The wiki tells me

You can also use Phone.HideKeyboard to hide the Android keyboard and load one of your own making

and I know how to use a custom keyboard when working from a B4A application.
Is it possible to replace the device virtual kbd with this custom kbd, so that it will appear whenever any application asks for a kbd ?

Currently it is not possible to build a global keyboard replacement.

hey its almost 2yrs since that post... Is it now possible to build my own Global key board... so that every time i need to type stuff... instead of the regular Android keyboard.. my keyboard pops up???
