Hi Devs ,

is is possible to resize a layout with the mouse with all childs together ?

The problem :
my first app in 2013 was created with the designer.
a mainpanel, in the mainpanel other panels, in the other panels buttons etc.
I have created this for a fixed screen layout. Now i have to update this old app to another smaller screensize. Can i mark all items and resize quickly with all marked elements to the target size? Or
have i resized all elements manually ?

you can resize from code ,so your layout can be adapted to any screen

do u mean the designerscript ?

i want only resize to the the new screen size and than never again.
If i understand you, the resize option in the kind of Thread #1 is not possible ?

Yes, you can select multiple views and resize them. In most cases there are other, better ways to create a flexible layout with anchors and the designer script.

i have tried, but without success. i have checked the panel and all "child" components, but now i can´t grab any edge from the panel to resize.
If i only check the panel, i can grab it and resize, but if i check the panel AND a child, i can´t grab any edge.

That's correct. You need to select all the panel views without the panel.

don´t work for me, because the resize isn´t proportional.
the smaller panels resize in same size as the bigger outer panel and the distances between the smaller panels are the same as before resizig.
