Detecting a new install and running preferences

Hi there,

another silly question.

In one of my applications you need to set up a URL and port before the program does anything, this is stored as a preference using the preference manager, but is there a way to detect if the program has been freshly installed on a new device and opens the preference manager first?

Ok I am very silly, I went to make a cup of tea realised what I needed to do..

In my set defaults I just call the preference_click sub

I am off to smack myself around the head now!

First thing I do is look for a file that my settings screen uses to store info. If the file does not exist then my settings screen opens.
