Dictionary API or library

Hello,
Does B4A have a dictionary (or spellchecker) API or library. Does anyone know of a web dictionary with an API interface, maybe Google Translate, that can be accessed through B4A?

I just need to check if this "word" is in the dictionary, maybe it's definition, and maybe it's correct spelling. Really just if this "word" is really a word.

If you just want to check if a word exists you might want to go with a word list stored on the device. It would not require a web connection and would be faster.

I use such a word list in my Anagrams application, available in "Share Your Creations". The list is based on the 12Dicts Word Lists (see The 12dicts Word Lists). There are a variety of lists there to suit your needs.
