iOS Question Display is only showing 1/2 the screen in some conditions

Hello. The forums have been great and I have been able to resolve many issues that I have encountered as I learn b4x.

However, this one, is weird. I don't know what to search for or what to look for to debug it, or what code to send to let others see.
So, I will describe it and hopefully, I can get some direction on where to look.

I have an app. it starts up on a page. if I go to page "search" directly, it is fine and looks like this

however.
if I start the app, and I got to another page , call it "settings". which I then navigate back to my main page,
then I got the "search" page, it looks like this

what am I looking for? thanks for any help.

You are probably using %x / %y outside of the resize event.

yes. that appears to be it. thank you.

I thought it was safe. I was wrong. Still working on best practices and getting them ingrained in my head. Some code has had to be rewritten a few times
