If you want to protect that file, save it on DirInternal, that directory is only accessed by your app (rooted phones are a different story, also, if you "CLEAR CACHE and CLEAR DATA from the Apps -> Settings screen on your device these files will also be deleted)

Removing the app from the device will delete everything in DirDefaultExternal and DirInternal.
