First Boot License Issues

Hello all

Just upgraded from the free version to standard, paid my low, low fee (for such a great program) and got my email, downloaded, unzipped, installed, followed the email instructions for copying the b4a-license.txt file to my desktop - all worked fine.

However, upon first time booting I got this message:

"An error has occurred during the registration process.
Error message: License file is missing.
Please contact support:basic4ppc.com"

and then B4A closes.

What's a newbie to do?

I have the same problem but sopport seem to take forever to answer. How did you solve it? I bought the std version for 49 USD.

When you bought Basic4Android you should have received an e-mail with the licence file.
Copy this file in the folder where you installed Basic4Android and it should work.
If didn't get the licence file the only possibility is to contact [email protected]

It doesn't work! I have received the license file, and put it on both desktop and the folder where I installed B4A, the error is still there.

you need to extract the file out of the ZIP file

really? I believe mine came in as a zip. (license + some other file)
