formatting text file

Cannot locate any hints or help for this problem ..

I have a simple text file populated with 3 columns of data from a list ..
Because font is not of fixed width the print out is fairly messy ,even padding out strings to set lengths.

any hint as to how to achieve some sort of column alignment would be helpful..

have not played with html before .. is this an option, stringbuilder ?

this is for an immediate on the spot printout, later the file is sent a pc for proper formatting,colors,size ect anyway

DBUtils module has a method named ExecuteHtml. This method creates a nicely formatted html table. You can use it to create your own table.

Plain text files do not have any formatting.
