The GPS example from Erel is great, lets say I want a 1 mile radius from my home position, and to raise some form of alert if my phone goes outside of this, how is this achieved in code? Like a Geo Zone!

Does anyone have some simple code examples to start me on this journey. I had a phone stolen some time back, something like this would be brilliant, this could be added as a service to post to an MQTT broker in the background once outside of the GEO Zone radius.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that you should use a low power location solution such as this one: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/fusedlocationprovider.50614/#content

You can use Location.DistanceTo to calculate the distance between two points.
