I think a great addition to basic4ppc would be the ability to campare one "file" verses another and highlight the changes in the "newer" version. This would allow developers working in groups to quickly be able to identify the exact changes made.

there are lot of good freeware tools available for that issue.

My favourite comparison tool is WinMerge.
