The examples either for webapps or servers..
Expected a standard simple Hello World project with a window and one button, when clicked it will display "Hello World"
    That is all.
This may be hiding somewhere but couldn't find it..
This way one learns how to invoke the IDE, Open the window and draw a button on it, and learn how to get the place where he
can write code for the button.
    Everything else follows...

You need to use jMsgboxes library to show a message box (as there is no built-in support for dialogs in JavaFX).

However about the tutorials, start with the tutorials that are in the Documentation section: http://www.b4x.com/b4j.html
