iOS Question how can i use the keys which generate in developer center of apple

What is the use of keys generation above Apple Development Center? How can it be quoted in b4i?

i have Created a certificate and provisioning profile ,look below:

    #If develop
        #CertificateFile: ios_development.cer
        #ProvisionFile: pldatacheck.mobileprovision  
    #Else
       #CertificateFile: ios_distribution.cer
       #ProvisionFile: embedded.mobileprovision  
    #END IF

I have been able to install my APP on the ipad.
but the keys file created name is AuthKey_G2F8797D25.p8
I can run APP without using this file “AuthKey_G2F8797D25.p8”.
But I want to know what is the use of this file.

My apologies - I probably have - I have never used these files and always just use the generated certificates with much success.
