Android Question How to Customize (branding) and App for Different Customers

Hi there,

I have an application that connects can be used for many different POS apps.

It is not on any internet store. It is installed manually by the customer on the devices they need.

I am looking in a way to customize each one app. Because it is based on a partnership and I need to customize with the customer Icon and App Name (apk).

However B4A is not project based like other compilers, where I could create new project files using the same source code with differences on includes.

What can be done to workaround this limitation?

i was in this situation to i found just copying the project directory into a new directory then just modifying the app name, version ETC.

then after a while i just built a sort of framework that allowed me to make slight changes without damaging the look and feel of the application.
as i have no need for the designer just hard coding buttons, images etc made it much more easier to maintain all my applications.

You can convert the "core" of your app to a library (Project - Compile To Library). You will then be able to reference this library from multiple projects.
