Android Question How to display text on status bar?

How to display text only ( no icon or image ) on the status bar?

I have searched the forum but didn't found the solution, hope you can help me, thanks.

Thanks for your reply but I am looking to display text via service, next to the date.

You can not display text in the Status-Bar.

next to the date

You mean TIME?

The Date is only visible when the dropdown is opened to show notifications and the Options. You can not change the layout.
