B4J Question Imageview not visible

In B4J I'm trying to show an image on the form:

Pic1.Initialize ("Pic1")
Pic1.SetImage (fx.LoadImage (File.DirAssets ,"ledaan.jpg"))
Pic1.SetSize (30dip,30dip)
Pic1.Top = 400dip
Pic1.Left = 100dip
Pic1.Visible = True
Pic1.Enabled = True

Nothing shows. Am I forgetting something?

You need to add the ImageView onto a Pane.
Or, if it is defined in a layout file you must not initialize it.

So you can not place an ImageView directly on a form?
I'll use a pane from now on..

A form has a RootPane, you can put it onto this one.
