Android Question IME SoftKeyBoard - Done Event

I am using this example to incorporate the IME "Done" Event:

I receive this error and cannot understand as the EditText (txtEvents) has bee initialized?

I have dropped the IME and using:

Sub txtEvents_EnterPressed

This is working.
