2. Decimal separator, decimal point as in period, as in little spot. Thousands are separated gramatically correct, with a comma, as it is the way it is spoken. e.g.:

Twenty three thousand, four hundred and thirty two.

(Incidentally, when you pronounce a decimal in German or Spanish, do you say "three point two five" or "three comma two five" for 3.25?

In Spain for numbers and money you would usually say "Tres coma veinticinco" (three comma twenty-five) or "Tres con veinticinco" (three with twenty-five). But for program versions you do say "Dos punto cinco" (two point five)

Actually, Android already does that, the problem is, and in a perfect digital world would not exist, is that the manufactor, in te search of detaching tha Android tablets from the Aple ones, introduc more and more weird sizes and resolution...
That is for me, the only REAL advange that the IPad has to Android...
The developer KNOWS the size the app will be runned on.

2. The decimal separator: some countries (european) use the comma and others (Pound - and $ countries) the point. At one point we should have a winner,

My perfect digital world is #1 and #2 as one program or at least two programs. I could care less about windows(~2% of market share) or blackberry(losing market share fast). The others on that list doesn't interest me.
