In one of my B4A apps, which allows users to display profiles and photos of other users, I detect a) roaming and b) wifi connections.
So, by default, if the device is roaming, it won't load photo automatically, but only when requested - unless on WiFi. And users can also choose to have higher resolution photos delivered, when using a WiFi network.
This is generally aimed at making sure that people don't unexpectedly end up with large data bills.
Is there a way on the iPhone to detect if the device is roaming?
