B4J Question Jpegutils for B4J

Hello,

Back in 2011 agraham developed a library for B4A called Jpegutils, Thanks agraham.

Will this library work in B4J? – I plan to just give it a try a little later.

Or, is there an equivalent library for B4J? My searches have not revealed anything. I will need to store some custom information within an EXIF field of a camera snapshot then read that custom information within B4J.

I tried the B4A Jpegutils library in B4J. It did not work.

I found a Java library that will read EXIF data, metadata-extractor, https://github.com/drewnoakes/metadata-extractor

I've attached a little demo project based on Erel's InlineJava example.

Unfortunately your demo not provided data from GPS!
Do you know how a completion of your example looks to provide data from GPS tags!

Sorry, no. The GPS data would be encoded somehow within the EXIF, but do not know how it's encoded.

There might be clues at the website I referenced in post #2.

Hi!

After later checks I found that GPS data directory information will be shown with this inline version.
Unfortunately, I discovered this after I coded a new version in B4J Basic for GPS data!
Unnecessary but instructive.
